The UK was supposed to leave the EU on 29th March 2019. However, the lack of deal between the UK and EU and the ruling out of a no-deal Brexit in the UK Parliament means deadlock.
Given the unprecedented amount of uncertainty surrounding UK businesses, what happens with Brexit now?
The UK has been granted a further extension of Article 50 by the EU to delay its departure until 31st October 2019. The UK Parliament must now use this extension to come up with a deal that is agreed upon by both sides, or the UK will leave the EU on 31st October with a no deal. If the UK comes up with a deal before the extension date, the EU has said the UK will then leave much sooner.
