What is the opportunity within UKFast’s Senior Windows team?
2020 was a hugely transformational year for our business with a large investment from the leading mid-market private equity firm Inflexion. Our hard work, dedication, and grit during such a turbulent year have propelled us into 2021 with a highly confident outlook for a successful year ahead. This has led us to the search for an Enterprise Windows Engineer to join us on our unique journey.
Reporting into our Windows Team Leader, your primary role will be supporting UKFast’s largest customers – some of the most exciting businesses found on the Internet. You’ll do this through intuitive troubleshooting, monitoring, and enhancing the customer’s existing solutions, as well as, working with our SA team to construct novel and innovative solutions to proactively support our customers’ future.

What should I bring?
- Active Directory and Azure AD, inc. hybrid solutions
- Familiarity with virtualisation platforms, esp. Hyper-V and vSphere products
- IIS, inc. as part of a mixed Windows/Linux web stack
- Exchange and Exchange Online / Office 365
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SAN storage and architecture experience – EMC/EqualLogic/Netapp/3PAR/HP and/or Dell server hardware
- Familiarity with PowerShell, the .NET family of languages, and basic coding concepts
