Lawrence and Gail Jones set up UKFast in 1999 after experiencing poor hosting services themselves; they believed that they could do better, so they did. Because of this, our focus from the start has been to deliver high-quality hosting solutions with a spotlight on customer service excellence.
This means that our technical team always strives to be the best - and we certainly think they are! Our outstanding technical support and award-winning customer service has set us apart from our rivals and enabled us to dramatically increase our client base year after year.
We employ the best technical team around and therefore we treat them accordingly. At UKFast we have a variety of incentives and rewards on offer to thank our team for helping to build the business with their technical expertise; this year, the tech 'Top 10' are being taken to Las Vegas, all expenses paid.
Lawrence believes that an engaged and happy workforce is essential to providing award-winning service and unrivalled tech support, so we've created UKFast Campus, where pool tables, a pond and steam room are all part of the furniture.
The tech team are also regularly invited to the company's training retreat in Snowdon to build team spirit and challenge themselves - and each other - in mountain climbing, raft building and all sorts of other physical and mental agility tests - and to just have fun too! From trips to our base in Wales, to jetting off to join our CEO in Verbier - the tech team is always at the heart of UKFast.
