Core Network

Cloud Infrastructure

Current Status: We have identified the following issues with this service:

eCloud Flex Network Controller maintenance

To improve the resilience and robustness of our Flex environment we are performing hardware and software upgrades of the Neutron Network Controller servers.

During this work there may be a short interruption to internet access for any instances not using a Floating IP.

Associated OpenStack virtual network infrastructure including DHCP, load balancing and VPN services will also be briefly affected.

If you have any problems that persist please report them to Technical Support.

External

Virgin media issues

Update: This is now confirmed that it is a route leak from Botswana Fibre who are mistakenly announcing Virgin Media IP space. Our engineers will work around this issue on our side but overall the problem is outside of the UKFast network.

We are aware that Virgin media have DNS issues at present.

This is something that is outside of our control and we suggest you speak to Virgin Media for further information.
