UKFast takes on new HR manager for ambitious growth plan

Dedicated web hosting company UKFast has announced the recruitment of high-flying HR executive Natalie Lewis as the first step in its bold strategy to double staff numbers over the coming year.
CIPD qualified Natalie has been tasked with the key role of advancing the company's formal recruitment procedures to ensure that UKFast meets its increasing staff needs without compromising on its high standards. Natalie will also be responsible for staff development and training.
No stranger to taking on tough assignments, Natalie brings with her four years' HR experience and a wealth of people-knowledge from running her own business. Speaking about what attracted her to the newly created role of UKFast HR manager, Natalie said the company shared her philosophy about the importance of the company-employee relationship and how the right blend of product, employee and environment offers a winning edge that cannot be recreated by others.
“Getting recruitment right is vital for any company. It is a two way process. The employer must be fair and appreciative to its staff, while the employees must buy into the culture and drive of the company. When you get the balance right – success will follow,” commented Natalie.
UKFast currently employs 50 staff from its modern office at the top of City Tower in the heart of Manchester. However, MD Lawrence Jones has ambitious ideas to double staff numbers over the coming year in a bid to capitalise on the firm's excellent reputation as an industry leader in the ISP arena.
One central strand of UKFast's expansion plan is to significantly increase employee numbers within its customer care team. “Part of the reason why we have won the ISPA's Best Hosting Provider award for four straight years is the importance we place on service,” Lawrence stated. “We need to ensure that we have the staff capacity to maintain our high levels of customer service going forward and that is why we are embarking on an ambitious recruitment drive.”
