Article date: Fri, 20 May 2005 12:03 GMT

Lawrence Jones backs Manchester all the way

5 years ago, 98% of UK businesses wanted their Websites hosted in London. Today enquiries reveal that 94% prefer their online presence managed outside the capital. UKFast, Manchester's largest provider of dedicated server solutions believes it is perfectly placed to put North West business at the forefront of the Internet.

The Internet Hosting Company is offering SME's the complete Internet package ‘under one network.' Managing Director Lawrence Jones believes UKFast has a part to play in the regions growth. “The majority of Small Businesses in the North West are still dialing-up and running dated Websites. It's our duty to deliver a Rolls Royce service available to all. By offering affordable dedicated solutions to local businesses we are boosting the prosperity of the region as a whole.”

A key step to delivering this promise is the appointment of experienced designer/developer Vincent Hogg. Born in Manchester, Hogg's career to date has seen him building and ‘fixing' sites for the cities Boss Model Management as well as High Street giants Littlewoods. In addition, his work on contributes to its status as the UK's most successful e-commerce Sports site.

Jones is confident that the appointment is timely not only for the company but Hogg as well. “Vincent has a big advantage over other applicants. He has vast development experience to compliment his design skills. We can give him a variety of projects to test his talents and his dual skill offers new clients a fast and affordable service.”

Hogg is looking forward to the challenge. “It has been amazing to learn the trade with companies like Mars and Littlewoods but joining UKFast gives me a position at the cutting edge of my field. Where better to make my online mark than with the UK's Best Hosting Provider?”
