Careers candidates present to UKFast senior staff

Leading dedicated hosting company UKFast has been busy over the last few weeks meeting the next generation of local graduate talent as it looks to recruit for its continued exciting expansion.

As a growing technology employer in the North West, UKFast is committed to sourcing the best local talent to enhance its existing award-winning team. So over the last fortnight senior management has engaged in four days of meeting and greeting with local university graduates.

Initially, on Wednesday June 11, UKFast's Comms, Tech and HR managers accompanied company MD Lawrence Jones to the University of Manchester‘s 2008 Graduate Recruitment Fair at the Armitage Centre. From their UKFast stand the senior management team met with hundreds of the region's brightest minds, making the event a resounding success.

The second prong to UKFast's recruitment event was to invite graduates to its modern, top-floor office in City Tower, Piccadilly Gardens on Thursday 12. The open invitation to see the office environment, meet with current staff and discuss potential opportunities was taken up by a fantastic number of the students that visited the UKFast stand.

The open day produced a suitable pool of over 100 applicants, which UKFast invited back for a highly successful third prong assessment day in the last week. This was then followed with a shortlist of second interviews that should result in a clutch of new appointments for the hosting provider.

“The recruitment fair allowed us to connect with many fantastic graduates. And it was extremely pleasing to see so many at our office the following day,” Natalie Lewis, UKFast's HR Manager enthused. “The assessment day and second interviews continued with the same quality and we're now in a position to employ the best candidates and maintain our award-winning standards.”
