UKFast build 'greener' Web with Environment Agency
Article date: Fri, 13 Jan 2006 10:43 GMTUKFast is to power a new online interface between the Property Search service from the Environment Agency and NLIS, the government e-conveyancing portal. Crucial for solicitors and house buyers alike, the Agency's new improved service provides risk analysis reports (for residential or commercial property) detailing relevant environmental factors. This service is available for England and Wales. The interface allows private access for Solicitors using the NLIS portal. Those without access can request the information from the Agency's website. Such reports are fundamental in building the portfolio a solicitor presents to a house buyer during the purchasing process. With the Government planning Home Information Packs for 2007, new electronically available data will also be a blessing for home sellers as responsibility for the pack will be on their shoulders. Lawrence Jones, Managing Director of UKFast is thrilled to be bringing the dynamic tool to the net. "Having been through the home buying process a few times, I know how painful it can be. It's great that we are relieving some of the headache and even better that we are improving people's awareness of their environment." Chris Hall, in charge of the project for the Environment Agency, can't wait to get the scheme online. "The Agency receives 700 requests for Property Search information every month, so UKFast's reputation for speed and reliability is just what we need to streamline the process for everybody."
