MD Lawrence JonesFollowing record results for the first half of 2006, Manchester based UKFast has announced expansion across all departments in order to meet a growing demand for its award winning Internet solutions. New business figures for the period reveal that the Internet service provider has already matched new business revenue for all of 2005 and demand continues to grow every day. Managing director Lawrence Jones is thrilled with the ISP's development but recognises the need to consolidate each area of the business to maintain customer service. “Gaining new business is fantastic but retaining clients is absolutely crucial and in the Internet world, good customer care is hard to find. We're guaranteeing this by bringing in a mix of experienced new staff.” The first key appointment is technical support manager Chris Andrews. “Having worked at a top level with Fasthosts and Legend Communications, Chris will be a vital cog in the client experience,” explains Jones. “In addition, we're bolstering the technical department by 30%, so are on the look out for talented Windows and Linux technicians.” Working with Pareto Law, UKFast has already recruited a new raft of account handlers in July. Jones has a novel way of initiating new recruits and a trip to the summit of Snowdon is already planned for September for all staff in order to truly integrate them into the team.
