As an eventful 2008 comes to a close UKFast is taking the opportunity to wish all of its clients a very happy new year, both in the festive and business sense.
For many 2008 has been a testing time but a clear message has emerged that a strong online business presence can insulate companies against the worst a recession will throw at them.
"In this day and age every business should have an online presence but the difficult economic conditions this year have added even more weight to the argument for having a website," comments UKFast MD Lawrence Jones.
"A website is a virtual shop that is local to anyone with an internet connection and which offers convenience and flexibility but without the costly overheads," Jones adds. "With online e-commerce smashing previous records year on year, those without a website are really missing out on a massive marketplace."
UKFast can give testimony to the benefits of being in the internet business as company profits achieved record highs in 2008 despite the general downturn. Furthermore, thousands and thousands of UKFast clients also enjoyed growth thanks in part to their steadfast UKFast hosting solutions.
And 2009 is set to be a year of even greater highs for the ISP and its clients. MD Jones confidently predicts further record financial figures for the business and as the e-commerce arena continues to expand, it should also be a good year for UKFast clients.
"At UKFast we cannot wait for 2009 to arrive. We have many exciting projects in the pipeline to deliver even more value for clients to help them maximise their growth. And we hope to add many more businesses in the next 12 months," enthuses Jones. "So I would like to take this opportunity to wish a happy new year to current and future clients and to say - bring on 2009!"
