UKFast Secure Cloud Services Approved Through G-Cloud 9

Technology firm UKFast today announces that it is approved to supply 21 separate cloud offerings – across hosting, software and support – through the latest iteration of the government’s G-Cloud framework.
The news that UKFast is approved to supply through G-Cloud 9 follows the recent acquisition of public sector specialists Secure Information Assurance (S-IA) and a £2.3 million upgrade in UKFast’s government data centre space earlier this year.
Martin Knapp, Head of Public Sector at UKFast, said: "Our credibility in the public sector market place is backed up by recent audits from the NCSC, MoD and NCA Information Assurance accreditors. We now provide an extremely creditable suite of solutions for the UK public sector via our G-Cloud 9 submission, which is testament to the investment made by UKFast in this space.”
Public sector organisations are clearly viewing UKFast’s combination of cutting-edge technology, rigorous compliance processes and dedicated support as a credible alternative to the likes of UKCloud and AWS, as the firm continues to land a string of significant public sector wins.
Recent deals include a major contract with HMRC and a £250,000 deal to supply the UK Cabinet Office with a cloud platform for its emergency ResilienceDirect service, which supports effective response to incidents like natural disasters, terror attacks and power outages.
UKFast CEO Lawrence Jones said: “UKFast’s eCloud is delivering incredible peace of mind to public sector organisations and, as always, it’s an honour to be accredited to bring our best of British service to the UK government through G-Cloud.
“Security and reliability are at the forefront of every business’s mind right now and, of course, that should be no different in the public sector. eCloud is wholly UK-based and with our suite of security products and newly developed ultra-secure data centre space, we’re perfectly equipped to help protect public sector data and keep services online.”
The latest figures from the government reveal total G-Cloud sales are approaching the £1.8bn mark.
