UKFast team member wears red in anticipation of Red Nose DayHosting Provider UKFast is getting into gear for Red Nose 2009 day on March 13th with epic plans to raise cash for the Comic Relief cause. UKFast is launching a plethora of money raising schemes including an intriguing office Olympics and a fast and frisky pool tournament. There'll be custard pies and foam all round (the managers' faces). "It's a great thing to support," says MD Lawrence Jones. "I've no doubt it'll go down very well with the team as everyone is more than willing to support such a good cause." "But to make sure everyone gets into the spirit, anyone who doesn't wear red gets waxed - hairy technicians be warned." Comic Relief was launched on Christmas Day in 1985, live on BBC One. The eleven Red Nose Days have so far raised more than £420m. That money is helping, to support people and communities in dire need both in the UK and Africa. UKFast is no stranger to supporting charity events. In the last year the hosting provider has supported other causes such as Wear It Pink Day. Many team members also ran the Manchester 10k last year to raise cash for Factor 50, a skin cancer charity. You can sponsor UKFast for Comic Relief at:
