Try to Win - Free Rugby tickets for kids.
Article date: Thu, 03 Mar 2005 15:56 GMTOfficial sponsors of Sale Sharks Rugby team, UKFast have teamed up with Web resource Our Kids Sports to offer free tickets to lucky junior rugby teams in the UK. Charlie Hodgson pulled off an excellent performance against Ireland in the RBS 6 Nations, a game England so nearly won. In response, the kickers official sponsor wants to give young enthusiasts the chance to see this great talent playing at home for Sale Sharks. And you can win tickets for your entire junior rugby team to visit Sale Sharks at their Edgeley park home for one of the final games of the 2004/2005 season. It is a critical time as the Sharks compete to hold their place in the top three and the chance to be the Zurich Premiership Champions. Each junior team member is allowed to enter the competition once. The question itself couldn't be easier if you're a keen Rugby enthusiast. Entrants just need to say which number Sale and England winger Mark Cueto wears on the field and they could be taking their whole team to meet Charlie and the England Captain Jason Robinson. Nathan Bombrys, Marketing Manager of Sales Sharks looks forward to meeting the winners. "It's a great chance to get some young talent on the field, perhaps pit them against Sharky to win a few prizes and then top it off by getting a few of the players to present their awards at the end of the day." Lawrence Jones, Managing Director of UKFast is a keen rugby enthusiast and sees the nurture of our youngsters as vital. "Grass Roots sport in this country needs a massive boost. You only have to look at youth sport in Australia to understand why they are leaders in so many fields." Jones continues "Encouragement is just the first step. Since winning the Rugby World Cup in 2003, the sport has experienced a rebirth in this country and more and more kids are taking an interest. We're just trying to add some extra inspiration for a lucky few." The competition runs until Friday 18th March and all the rules and regulations can be found on the UKFast Competition page.
