Internet hosting provider UKFast has made it onto the shortlist for the Manchester Evening News' prestigious Business of the Year awards, coming one step closer to winning the title.
The company now faces stiff competition against two other Manchester businesses. UKFast must convince the judges it is top dog in the under £10million turnover category - notorious for being the most competitive group.
To reach this stage UKFast has already met and presented to a select panel of assessors twice. Round two saw the company presenting again to a judging panel which includes representatives from the Royal Bank of Scotland, Pinsent Masons, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and the MEN itself.
Lawrence Jones, managing director of UKFast said: "It's fantastic to be recognised as one of the top three. To clinch the title now, we must work hard to convey the ethos of UKFast and our achievements, as well as our goals and aspirations for the future."
UKFast has seen an impressive growth in the nine years since its inception, which has seen the company winning and retaining the esteemed ISPA best hosting award for the last four years. Winners will be announced early in November.
