Manchester-based hosting specialist UKFast has been shortlisted in three categories at this year's National Business Awards.
Lawrence Jones, UKFast CEO and finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year category said: "We are incredibly proud to be shortlisted in not just one, but three categories at this year's awards.
"We pride ourselves on our customer service focus so to have that recognised as a finalist in the Huawei Customer Focus Award means a lot to us."
UKFast is also in the shortlist for the Employer of the Year award. Jones said: "We're committed to looking after the brilliant team that we have here, because without them UKFast wouldn't be the success that it is. A happy and fulfilled team is our biggest asset as a business."
The firm is flying the flag for the region with North West businesses making up just 8.5% of the shortlist, compared to London-based companies making up 41% of the finalists.
Jones said: "The North West is a hub of innovation, industry and entrepreneurialism so it is a shame not to see more of our great businesses in the shortlist. Whatever businesses can do in London, we can do up here."
UKFast, along with the other finalists, will now complete a presentation at the Gherkin in London before the winners are crowned at a ceremony in November.
Baroness Virginia Bottomley, chair of judges at the awards said: "Finalists demonstrate how companies are succeeding in the current climate through innovation, originality and tenacity. It's good to see a broad range of companies both in sector and size. Congratulations to all our finalists."
