Manchester City Council has selected digital agency Clicky Media to design its new website chronicling the regeneration of East Manchester.
Clicky Media has previously worked with several public bodies including the NHS and Care Council for Wales, and has now been tasked with creating an interactive online hub to chart the progress of the redevelopment that will see new homes, offices and social areas built in East Manchester.
The new website will be hosted on dedicated servers with Manchester-based hosting and colocation UKFast, along with many other Clicky Media projects and websites.
Clicky Media founder and CEO, Oliver Yeates, said: "It's an honour to once again be able to work with Manchester City Council on a website which will give the public an insight into a huge regeneration project which will transform part of this iconic city.
"While we'll design and build the website, we have the hosting aspect covered thanks to our ongoing relationship with UKFast. We're looking forward to getting started."
Lawrence Jones, UKFast CEO, said: "We're delighted to see Clicky Media thriving with such an important project for the city. UKFast's purpose is to help our clients grow, plus 2014 is our year of giving back to Manchester, so involvement in this project alongside Clicky Media is really exciting for us."
Set up in 2006, Clicky Media has grown to work with some of the world's biggest brands including Olympus, Channel 4 and the NHS.
