Manchester Camerata launches multimedia website

Manchester Camerata, the resident chamber orchestra at the famed Bridgewater Hall, has launched a new website in conjunction with its web partner UKFast.
The launch features a rebrand of the website which has found its new home on the UKFast network. The new website, designed by Nonconform and built by Harper James, is set to revolutionise the orchestra's online presence.
The speed and reliability of the UKFast network ensures a solid performance for web users and will give Manchester Camerata an edge in the Google rankings, allowing the organisation to reach as many people as possible.
UKFast's managing director, Lawrence Jones, sees this partnership as direct line to an industry that he is extremely passionate about.
"Manchester Camerata is a bastion of the North West arts community," said Jones. "Like UKFast, the Camerata team are innovators. This is exemplified by their interaction with the community through the music they create and the channels they use to communicate. They look to inspire with everything they do and their website plays a major part in this."
The new site is designed to be accessible to all audiences, from music lovers to newcomers and those looking to buy music and tickets - and the superior hosting means that, for the first time, the Camerata will be able to place high quality audio and live concert footage online for users to enjoy in real time.
Manchester Camerata is also using the site to highlight its excellent work with children from all backgrounds in the community. This is another element that attracted Jones to the project.
"Having worked in the community with the Sale Sharks for almost a decade now, it is great to now play a part in reaching the younger generation from an arts angle," says Jones. "We believe we are working with two of the best organisations in the UK to deliver expertise and opportunities at grass roots level."
