Frost arrives in spring recruitment drive at UKFast
Article date: Wed, 25 Mar 2015 08:26 GMTCloud infrastructure provider UKFast today appointed corporate M&A legal specialist Nicola Frost ahead of the firm's ambitious growth plans. Frost joins UKFast as Head of Legal, after more than a decade in the profession specialising in private equity, mergers and acquisitions. The Legal 500 lawyer said: "Having spent my entire career in law firms, it's a definite departure to move to an in-house role, but the dynamic nature of the business made it very attractive for me. "The company has seen astonishing growth over the past 15 years and I am excited to play my part in accelerating UKFast to the next level. Ordinarily a move like this would take some courage, but hearing Lawrence's vision for the future of UKFast made it a very easy step." Most recently a partner at DWF, Frost has been ranked in Chambers and Partners in the North West for corporate work and recently advised the management of Waterfall Services on their investment by LDC and YFM Equity Partners on their investment in Cambrian Park & Leisure Homes. Lawrence Jones MBE, UKFast CEO, said: "The past few years have seen us grow remarkably. But in a funny way the journey is just beginning. As we embark on the next stage of our growth, I am more focussed than ever. Nicola is a great asset to the UKFast team and has a great deal of experience working with M&A director Catherine Houghton formerly of LDC who joined us last year." UKFast recently posted financial results showing 24% revenue growth in 2014 to £28.9m and last year announced that within a year of launch, eCloud accounts for more than 18% of revenue.
