In the midst of building what it's calling "conversational understanding" (CU) as part of its development of speech technology, Microsoft is also testing out a new incentive program that it hopes will lure customers of Salesforce or Oracle's CRM services to switch to its own Dynamics CRM Online while denying claims that it is limiting the supplies of its Kinect motion sensing device.

UKFast Microsoft Bulletin - Delivering Cost Efficiencies

Data transfer is the new currency of the 21st century and being able to effectively manage and move data is therefore vital to the success of any business. Mislaid or irretrievable data can cost a company dearly from lost man-hours to lost customers.

As a survey by Microsoft partner Accenture revealed, 59% of the managers surveyed said they had missed useful information held within their organisations because they couldn't find it, and 42% used the wrong information at least once a week.
