Twitter is updating its portal for business users.
The company said that it would be refreshing the Twitter for Business site to provide users with better information on using the microblogging service as a marketing and promotional tool.
Designed for business users, the service not only provides companies
with tutorials and best practices for connecting with customers via Twitter, but also serves as the base for the paid "Promoted" Twitter account features.
The company said that the update would add additional advice and tutorials for businesses as well as access to advertising services and tips on new mobile service options.
"We've seen tremendous growth in the creative ways businesses and organisations are leveraging Twitter, and we want to make sure you have access to their great ideas," the company said in a blog posting.
"We'll continue to update the site with fresh use cases, tips, tools, and resources."
Since Twitter began taking-off, businesses have been looking to the service as a way to better connect and communicate with customers.
While the marketing potential of the service has proven valuable to businesses, online scammers have also begun to mine Twitter for information to use in social engineering attacks.
The update comes as Twitter finds its own business outlook brightening.
The company announced that it had managed to raise some $200m (£128m) in its latest round of fund raising. The investment values the social networking site at an estimated $3.7bn overall.
