Bounty.com, the parenting website, is launching an internet TV channel to provide parenting programmes on demand. The new channel will launch today (October 7).
It will feature ten parenting themed films and will include new content every month. The TV channel will offer a mix of expert advice, practical help, commentary from parents and reality TV clips.
Bounty e-business director, Andrew Thomas says the site is aiming to make its content "even sticker". He adds: "Motherhood is one of the most information hungry, support-hungry times in a woman's life. In addition, having a baby makes a woman re-evaluate her choices and become highly susceptible to brand switching.
"This is why online video is integral to our commercial strategy and we are confident that brands will take advantage of this programme and channel sponsorship to gain a shift in mums' brand loyalty and connection."
Bouty.com has 2.5 million members and says it has approximately 95% market coverage of the estimated 750,000 annual births in the UK.
