Mobile content provider YuuZoo and Microsoft’s MSN have signed an exclusive partnership to develop mobile services for users across Asia.
Under the deal, Singapore-based YuuZoo will develop, host and maintain mobile content on a co-branded MSNYuuZoo site. MSN, meanwhile, will place ads across its network to drive traffic to the site.
The MSN ads will reach China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Philippines. They include ads on the MSN homepage, MSN Messenger, Windows Live Spaces and Windows Live Hotmail.
YuuZoo has deals with wireless carriers, portals and handset manufacturers across Asia to distribute its content.
"YuuZoo provides us with a new channel into the mobile world," said Kitty Xu, multinational sales manager for Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions Asia. "We are confident that a large portion of our Asian users will appreciate the mobile content and become happy subscribers."
