The Marketing Society is partnering with Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions (MDAS) to meet demands for advice on digital marketing.
Initially, Microsoft will launch a new web site for the Marketing Society at its Annual Conference on 20th November.
The site, created by Brandwidth, will act as a resource and advice hub on digital, and will create an online presence for the society.
At http://www.marketing-society.org.uk/, users will find applications including an ‘Ask Microsoft' tool allowing members instant access to MDAS experts for digital advice. By emailing enquiries, they can expect an expert response from Microsoft within 48 hours. For more complex problems, Microsoft will offer a visit from a consultant.
Member networking will also be encouraged, with functionality designed to make finding and connecting to other users easy.
"The digital world provides so many opportunities for marketers, but it also uncovers many questions, said Hugh Birkitt, chief executive at the Marketing Society.
"Our partnership with Microsoft and the new digital section on our web site will enable members to debate and pose opinions on all things digital."
"[This partnership] indicates how established digital has become within the marketing mix. It is key that members, who are amongst the leading marketers across the UK, embrace digital as a media," added Alex Marks, head of marketing, MDAS UK.
The Marketing Society's Annual conference, ‘New Rules for a New World', is being held at the Royal Opera House, London.
