Security Flaw Tweet Exploits Mouse Hovers

Today, a shock Twitter security flaw has been universally exploited and has already reached a wide number of Twitter accounts. The website is currently being attacked by a malicious Javascript worm that re-tweets the exploit automatically to your followers when you mouse over the link.

Twitter themselves have not released an official statement regarding the security flaw, but it is thought to have reached thousands of accounts causing a number of different issues including launching pop-up windows, opening websites, changing the font sizes,etc.

We strongly advise that you only use third party applications such as HootSuite or TweetDeck to access Twitter until further notice.
