Wordpress, Reddit and Mozilla have thrown their weight behind planned protests against NSA internet surveillance.
The Restore the Fourth movement - making reference to the US constitution's fourth amendment - announced it wants to halt "unconstitutional surveillance" and around 100 events have been pencilled in across the US.
A number of websites are planning to put messages of protest on their homepages, co-ordinated by a group calling themselves the Internet Defence League (IDL).
