Virgin Media Business To Train SMEs in Digital Skills
In a bid to encourage small to medium sized businesses to share ideas and learn new digital skills, Virgin Media Business is hitting the road with its Big Digital Skills Hub.
The Hub is a free digital learning platform designed for businesses to discuss challenges and workarounds, such as how to attract more customers through online channels or how to use technology to work more efficiently.
The hub was launched in September after a survey it conducted revealed that over a quarter of SMEs identified digital skills, training, web development and technology as essential to their future.
Mike Smith directo of SMB at Virgin Media Business School said: "The Big Digital Skills Hub and roadshow have been launched to help UK businesses cross the digital divide by providing them with the right skills to help them achieve their ambitions faster.
"Our research has found that there is potential revenue of £3.8bn that remains untapped from SMEs not fully utilising the technology available to them.
"With initiatives such as this tour we aim to increase the number of businesses able to take advantage of digital and position themselves as leaders within their respective industries."
