Two Thirds of UK Social Media Users Ignore Privacy Settings
According to a survey report highlighted by Microsoft, only 30% of UK social media users enable privacy settings for their accounts.
The figure came to light from a Microsoft annual Computing Safety Index survey that monitored the safety behaviour of online users in the UK.
The report also highlighted that only 33% of mobile users in the UK set a password or pin to on their phone.
The research from the report has been released in order to highlight simple changes that online users can make, to improve their security online.
