Thousands affected after attack

Login names and passwords for have been shared online.

Tesco has been forced to de-activate some customers' net accounts after their login names and passwords were shared online.

It was reported that there was a list of more than 2,000 accounts that were shared on a well-known text-sharing site by hackers on Thursday.

In a statement, Tesco said: "We have contacted all customers who may have been affected and are committed to ensuring that none of them miss out as a result of this.

"We will issue replacement vouchers to the very small numbers who are affected."

This is not the first time Tesco have been hit by a cyber-attack, as last year many customers revealed their loyalty card details had been breached.
