Sony has today announced that its range of 3D products will be available to buy from June, making this summer's World Cup 3D experience "more affordable".
The Sony HX803 will be released this summer by the electronic giants, as its first foray into the 3D market.
In this early set Sony have said that the 3D glasses will be sold separately whereas the following model, the Sony KDL - LX903 will have glasses included.
PS3 fans will also be excited by Sony's announcements, which included the news that the set available in June will come with free stereoscopic PS3 games.
According to these latest announcements, "select" 3D products will be sold in bundles, with blue ray disks including "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs" and "Deep sea".
Although it is not yet clear how much the new Sony 3D equipment will cost when it does become available in June, they have promised consumers the new range will be "affordable".
Sony did promise that their new products would be available in time for the World Cup, however none of the UK TV providers will be broadcasting the games in 3D.
