Sonos Reveals Security Vulnerability

A security vulnerability has been discovered in Sonos' wireless music systems. The company has warned users of a hole that could have been exploited by hackers to gain access to their sensitive customer data. In an email sent to users of the systems, Sonos, advised them to immediately install an update to fix the vulnerability and that they are not aware of any breaches so far. The advice, also posted on their forum, revealed that the flaw could 'in rare cases' allow someone to access the usernames and passwords of services used on a Sonos system.
