Queen Mary University in London is to pilot a four day networking crash course for both undergraduate and graduate students.
The course will run later this month, and will see 100 applicants undertake three days of technical training, and a day of certification examination.
The course, designed for students with intermediate networking knowledge, will provide students with an understanding of the junos OS, networking fundamentals and basic routing and switching techniques.
Vindya Wijeratne, lecturer at Queen Mary University said: "Scores of students have been able to access virtual networks to learn basic networking skills, as well as test scenarios and practice theory in a risk-free yet realistic environment.
"We are very pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to our undergraduate and postgraduate students as part of our collaboration and partnership with Juniper Networks."
