Premier League Wants Site Block
The Premier League will request a court order instructing internet service providers to block football streaming site FirstRow1.eu.
If the action against the Sweden-based website is successful, it will be the first sport-related block in the UK.
The move comes soon after the BPI music industry body's fruitful bid to have several piracy websites blocked in this country, including the Pirate Bay.
The UK's major ISPs (internet service providers) received a letter from the Premier League detailing a potential court order, and have been given until June 28 to state if they intend to challenge the action.
