The official website of Malaysia Airlines has been hacked by a group claiming to be from the Lizard Squad.
The national carrier's homepage currently shows a photograph of a lizard in a top hat and tuxedo.
Malaysia airlines have confirmed that their site has been compromised, but say customers' bookings and data were not affected.
On Monday morning the main page of its website was replaced with the words "404 Page Not Found" and "Hacked by Lizard Squad".
The airline is still recovering from two big disasters; the disappearance of MH370 and the shooting down of MH17.
It is unclear why Malaysia Airlines has become the target of a cyber attack. Lizard Squad announced that it would release data from Malaysian Airlines, but did not say what kind it had.
Malaysia Airlines confirmed in a statement that its Domain Name Systems (DNS) had been compromised, however its own web servers were intact and the website itself had not been hacked into.
