Facebook Buys Virtual Reality Headset
Oculus VR, a Californian company which specialises in virtual reality products, has been bought by Facebook for around $2bn.
The Oculus Rift covers your eyes and immerses you in a virtual environment that responds to your head movements.
Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg said Oculus' technologies could change the way we "work play and communicate."
He said: "Mobile is the platform of today, and now we're also getting ready for the platforms of tomorrow.
"Oculus has the chance to create the most social platform ever, and change the way we work, play and communicate."
According to Facebook, there have been more than 75,000 orders for development kits, even though the Oculus Rift has not been released yet.
