Evernote Suffers Cyber Attack
The online notes and web clippings saving service Evernote, has suffered disruption after a cyber-attack.
While the disruption occurred, some members were unable to synchronise their filings from one device to another.
The firm said it was hit by the attack on Tuesday, and this is not the first time the site had been compromised. Back in 2013, hackers had managed to access user names, email addresses and encrypted passwords.
Spokeswoman for Evernote, Ronda Scott said the attack, caused by an unknown perpetrator was still on-going.
She added: "We continue to mitigate the effects of the attack, but have successfully returned Evernote to service.
"As is the nature of DDoS attacks, there was no data loss, and no accounts were compromised."
