Server Intellect introduces Windows Server 2008
Server Intellect, a Microsoft Gold Certified provider of advanced Windows-based Shared, Virtual Private Server and Dedicated Web hosting solutions, today announced the introduction of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 on its entire line of managed Windows dedicated servers. Windows Server 2008 was released by Microsoft just last week.
The company declared that with today's announcement, it will become one of the first Windows Web hosts and Microsoft Gold Certified Partners to offer Windows Server 2008 on its dedicated servers. The updated operating system represents the most substantial upgrade of the Windows Server product line since Windows 2000 was released eight years ago.
"For many months, our business customers and engineers have been awaiting the arrival of Windows Server 2008. This operating system truly opens the doors for a new era of possibilities and opportunities, and we see its implementation as a strategic milestone for our company.
Through our expertise in Microsoft technologies, we made it a priority to be one of the first hosting providers to deploy the platform across dedicated servers, and our customers are resoundingly excited," said Eric Pratt, CEO of Server Intellect.
"System administrators and software developers can leverage the enormous new feature set of Windows Server 2008 to create and manage a new class of applications. This is an important step forward."
