(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center solution provider AdaptivCool (www.adaptivcool.com) announced on Monday it has launched a new West Coast office to meet greater regional demand for its data center thermal and energy efficiency services and solutions.
The new AdaptivCool office is located in its parent company DegreeC's (www.degreec.com) Center for Air Flow and Thermal Technologies in Santa Clara, California.
The CATT facility will house the new AdaptivCool office, as well as continue to provide thermal design and validation of DegreeC's OEM and Contract Manufacturer products.
The facility will house demos for AdaptivCool's suite of data center efficiency offerings.
These solutions include HotSpotr and AdaptivCool's flagship technology, Room Scale Intelligent Cooling, which can reduce cooling energy in a data center by 30 percent.
The West Coast facility will also improve the response time for AdaptivCool's West Coast customers and partners' questions concerning data center thermal management issues.
Over the last six months we have seen tremendous growth on the West Coast," says Rajesh Nair, AdaptivCool's general manager. "It's clear that with the rising cost of energy and attractive utility incentives, a larger presence on the West Coast makes sense for our long-term growth."
AdaptivCool has helped manage the thermal and cooling environment of data centers for many companies and organizations on the West Coast. It has also participated in many industry events including TELADATA's annual Technology Convergence Conference.
