Virgin Media has announced that a mix of up to 274 telephone sales and customer services staff could be cut from its Brierley Hill and Colwick centres.
The move is part of last November's 4-year plan to cut up to 2200 jobs and lower the cable providers operating costs (original news) by 2012, which could save them up to £120m per year upon completion. The company will start a collective consultation process with those affected.
