Tiger Technologies, a web hosting company and ICANN accredited domain registrar, last week announced that the monthly bandwidth allowance for all hosted web sites has been doubled, at no additional cost.
The bandwidth allowance specifies how much data a website can serve to visitors via the Internet. Tiger Technologies offers three web hosting plans. The Silver plan, its allowed bandwidth has increased from 100 GB to 250 GB per month.
The Gold plan has increased from 200 GB to 500 GB, and the top-level Platinum plan has increased from 500 GB to 1 TB. Pricing on the plans has not changed. The increase has been made retroactive to June 1.
"We provide hosting for some very high-traffic websites and blogs, for both US and international customers, and they are sure to benefit immediately from the increased limits. Even smaller customers can now freely grow traffic to their websites, confident that any future growth will not lead to high excess-usage fees.
We hope our customers will enjoy the extra capacity that their websites now have, and that they will be able to make their websites even more popular. And as always, we also plan to continue our focus on providing top-notch customer service", said Robert Mathews, President of Tiger Technologies.
