Terremark Worldwide, Inc., a provider of IT infrastructure services, today announced that IBM de Colombia will leverage the infrastructure and connectivity at its NAP de las Americas - Colombia in Bogota to offer customers its IT solutions, including integration, business continuity and architecture services.
The company states that its facility in Bogota provides the infrastructure and connectivity that meets the demands of customers in this growing market. It adds that after an extensive selection process, Terremark was the choice because of the value offered by its network-neutral model and reliable infrastructure services.
The company further explains that NAP de las Americas - Colombia, which opened in June, is a state-of-the-art datacenter with massive connectivity to more than 160 carriers through its NAP of the Americas in Miami. The facility also provides the highest levels of physical security for sensitive business-critical applications and redundant power and cooling systems.
