rackAID, a provider specializing in management, deployment and security for dedicated servers, today announced that it has been selected by SoftLayer Technologies, a web hosting and datacenter services provider, as its preferred managed services provider.
The company states that as a preferred provider, SoftLayer, which houses servers in three datacenter facilities, now recommends rackAID for professional server management services, including server deployment and development of solutions based on Parallels Plesk. Mirroring this commitment is rackAID's recommendation of SoftLayer as its preferred provider of server infrastructure, says the company.
It adds that SoftLayer selected it as its preferred partner after working with the company for several years. The company has provided a variety of services for SoftLayer's clients, including service availability monitoring; patch management; and proactive response to server outages.
"We provide affordable management and deployment services that deliver long-term benefits to SoftLayer's clients," said Jeff Huckaby, president, rackAID. "We are excited about strengthening our ongoing relationship with SoftLayer. By working together, we can combine strengths and maximize results for our mutual clients."
"SoftLayer takes pride in the service we provide to our customers and expects each of our partners to deliver the same level of support and overall customer experience," said George Karidis, Chief Strategy Officer, SoftLayer. "In rackAID, we have found the ideal partner and are very excited about making rackAID a preferred partner."
