Rack-Soft launches VoipNow Plesk module
Rack-Soft, a developer and integrator of server and data center software, has announced the general availability of the free connection module between its hosted PBX server software 4PSA VoipNow and Paralells Plesk, a well-known control panel. The company claims that the new software delivers a unified communication platform by integrating Parallels Plesk with 4PSA VoipNow under a single administration interface. It states that the user management is automated and the provisioning of voice and video communications in hosted environments is dramatically simplified.
The company explains that VoipNow Plesk Module replicates effortlessly existing Plesk accounts into VoipNow with only a click of a button or links Plesk users with existing VoipNow accounts for centralized management. Plesk users with VoipNow accounts can work with hosting and VoIP from the same interface. It adds that when VoIP functionality is added to a Plesk account, the user will have delivered voicemail and faxes directly into his email box.
"By combining the hosting industry's leading control panel with the hosted VoIP PBX software, providers are ready for unified communications and to offer value services to their customers. With this integration, service providers that use Plesk can resell VoIP services and offer affordable hosted PBX services to SMB and residential users using SaaS (Software as a service) model.", said Bogdan Carstoiu, Rack-Soft's General Manager.
