Web hosting provider MaximumASP announced on Wednesday that it has upgraded its existing Windows virtual dedicated plans by "doubling allocated amounts of guaranteed RAM at no extra cost."
According to the press release, MaximumASP's virtual dedicated plans are currently available with no set-up fees starting at $69 per month for Plan A, which now includes 768MB RAM and 5GB of disk space. Plan B is available for $99 per month and includes 1.5GB RAM and 10GB of disk space.
"We have a great working relationship with Parallels and successfully leverage their Virtuozzo containers and we want to pass on the benefits to new and existing valued customers," says Dominic Foster, chief technology officer at MaximumASP CTO.
"Our customers receive significant cost savings and full management with a Virtual Dedicated plan and they also receive the same flexibility and scalability that a dedicated server provides until they are ready for a full upgrade to their own box."
The company says the upgrade in resource allocation comes with a new option to purchase MaximumASP's shared mail offering at an additional cost of $25 per month for five mail domains. Each domain can contain 100 users. Virtual dedicated customers can also receive a free license to install and run Smartermail Pro with account sign-up, says MaximumASP.
Founded in 2000 and based in Louisville, Kentucky, MaximumASP says it currently hosts more than 48,000 domains for customers in over 60 countries and has become a "top choice for Microsoft developers seeking a robust hosting platform for mission-critical web applications."
