Cirrus Tech, a Canadian web hosting provider, today announced that it has updated their existing Windows and Linux VPS product offerings with 2 new VPS plans aimed at clients that require a larger amount of dedicated resources.
In addition to these new plans, the company says that it has revised its existing VPS plans to provide a range of solutions that meet the requirements of each VPS client.
The company articulates that the lower end plans are geared towards VPS clients that may want a VPS to use as a testing environment or simply want to utilize Windows remote desktop.
The higher resource VPS plans are aimed at users that are thinking of moving to a dedicated server but want to avoid the costs and downtime associated with migrating to a dedicated server.
"We've noticed that some of our clients are really underutilizing their VPS while other clients are realizing they require significantly more resources," explains Mani Aminian, Sales Manager at Cirrus Tech.
"Our cheapest VPS plan is aimed at providing a very light VPS for those clients that require minimal resources while our more robust VPS offerings are created for clients that are looking for dedicated-server-like resources in a VPS container."
