Linux Server Management services, designed to meet the technical needs of small to medium sized cPanel/WHM, Plesk and DirectAdmin-based web hosting providers, have been debuted by WebHostGear’s ServerProgress.
The new company is designed to provide services on the heels of over four years of server management and security consultation experience. Its founder has also served in a variety of technical and customer support management positions at leading hosting companies.
Steven Leggett, Founder of ServerProgress.com remarked, “ServerProgress provides a unique service because of our industry experience and knowledge after years managing thousands of Linux systems on a daily basis. We also create our own custom tools, rule sets, and products such as ‘Nobody Check,’ which offers a level of server protection that is simply not available anywhere else.”
ServerProgress offers a variety of specialised services, including New Server Setup, Security Enhancements and Hardening, Anti-Spam Optimisation, and Server Analysis. It also provides management assistance on an hourly basis.
Mr. Leggett continued, “There is a growing need for server help and administration. Many businesses just don’t have the time, expertise or resources to properly address the requirements of dedicated or Virtual Private Server systems. We are here to offer our experience and expertise so our customers don’t have to worry about technical aspects of running their businesses.”
ServerProgress specialises in an assortment of custom solutions, including PHP Rebuilds, Kernel Upgrades, Firewall Installations, Spammer Resolution, Chkrootkit and Rkhunter scanning, and Server Migrations.
Launched in 2007 by the founder of hosting industry resource site WebHostGear.com, ServerProgress is an experienced provider of Linux Server Management services. The company also produces server management software, including the Nobody Check security tool.
