Server software provider Rack-Soft announced on Tuesday it is offering free 4PSA VoipNow Express PBX software. The new edition, which is offered for free and can support up to ten phone extensions, is targeted to small companies, residential users, and technology enthusiasts that want to adopt VoIP without delay.
4PSA VoipNow Express includes advanced PBX features such as call management, least cost routing, PSTN fallback, multitenancy, user management, conferencing, voicemail and fax. The provisioning system is also available in the free 4PSA VoipNow version, enabling faster and easier SIP phone deployment.
4PSA VoipNow Express edition runs on x86 and Power PC architecture based servers in Linux environments. Additionally, the solution minimizes migration costs from traditional PBX systems to VoIP technology and enables SOHO and SMB to test and embrace new communication methods.
"With 4PSA VoipNow Express, we provide a powerful and easy to use PBX available immediately, free for community and commercial use," says Cornel Nita, Rack-Soft's marketing manager. "As a vendor with over seven years of experience in server and data center solutions, we offer software and services to sustain growth. The software is built on a technology able to scale up to thousands of users per server, while minimizing support and maintenance costs."
