Managed Services to provide data centre clients with a complete technology management solution.
Fortrust, a data centre services provider and colocation facility, announced that it has added a comprehensive array of managed services to its data center services portfolio.
It states that marketed as their Managed Services, companies can now outsource management, monitoring and maintenance of their applications and information systems to FORTRUST which will help them increase performance of their systems, refocus on strategic IT initiatives and reduce operating costs.
It adds that the Managed Services are immediately available to existing and new data centre clients.
It explained that their Managed Services features services across the IT monitoring, management and reporting stack that includes network device, server/OS, database and applications monitoring, and management.
It says, companies often choose to outsource their network services to a managed services provider so they can take advantage of economies of scale to enhance the value of their IT investment. The result is improved operational efficiency and network service levels and reduced operating costs, claims the company.
"We're pleased to announce that FORTRUST Managed Services will provide additional value to our data center clients," said Rob McClary, general manager of FORTRUST.
"Just as our clients trust us to deliver a superior experience for colocation, they can expect the same level of customer service and precise attention to detail with our managed services offering."
"As a partner for growth, our goal is to help our clients leverage their IT investments so that they may meet day-to-day operational needs, allowing their core businesses to thrive," added McClary.
"As an enterprise grows and chooses to outsource operations to a data center in the geographically desirable Rocky Mountain region, it's important for that enterprise to select a facility and team that is not only best-in-class in space, power and access core services, but also offers other valuable services," said Steve Knudson, chief executive officer at FORTRUST.
"We're proud that FORTRUST maintains a dominant focus on core competency services. The addition of FORTRUST Managed Services allows us to provide other critical services that support our clients as they grow."
The company also announced that will partner with Absolute Performance, Inc., a Boulder, Colorado-based software and service solutions provider, to support the monitoring, management, pre-production load testing, end user experience validation and reporting functions of its managed services offering.
It says that Absolute was selected as a partner because of its offerings and its commitment to reliability and quality service. It is dedicated to providing superior space, power, and access as its core offering, Absolute is focused on managed services as a core competency.
Further, the company avers that Absolute's ability to quickly scale its solutions to meet their projected growth was a key factor in its selection.
"FORTRUST's robust data center services align well with our On Demand performance monitoring and management solutions and will provide their end-users with outstanding, validated performance 24x7." said Absolute Performance CEO Jerry Champlin.
