Web hosting provider Intermedia announced on Thursday it is offering Web hosting plans that use Adobe ColdFusion 8.
The new version of ColdFusion new technology of Adobe enables developers to integrate their websites with .Net applications and provides them with real time monitoring and reporting of production systems.
Starting at $39.95 per month, Intermedia says the new turnkey ColdFusion 8 plans provide a "highly robust and flexible environment, with a near-100 percent uptime SLA and around the clock management and support."
"We are very excited to offer ColdFusion 8," says Anna Silchenko, Web hosting product manager at Intermedia. "The new version allows us to provide our large community of developer customers with even more flexibility, performance and functionality than ever before, as well as greater integration with our hosted Microsoft Exchange email plans."
The latest version of ColdFusion offers significantly improved performance and scalability, as well as simplified integration with secure hosting environments. The software delivers enhanced encryption and security, .NET integration, PDF capabilities and improved advanced features.
A Microsoft Gold certified partner, Intermedia offers a range of hosted Microsoft Exchange and business Web hosting plans to more than 25,000 small and medium-sized businesses.
The Web host has undergone some significant changes in the past year, redirecting its focus to serve the mid-sized business market. In April 2007, Intermedia introduced its hosted Exchange 2007 service.
