HostMySite.com, an Adobe solution partner, today announced the addition of ColdFusion 8 Enterprise Edition to their hosting plans.
HostMySite's close partnership with Adobe allowed them to be the first ColdFusion host to offer the beta version, code named 'Scorpio', to the developer marketplace.
Customers who participated in the Scorpio beta hosting trial have been anxiously awaiting the news of the official release of ColdFusion 8. Adobe ColdFusion 8 is a fast and easy way to create Internet applications. It solves the day-to-day challenges faced by developers, integrates in complex enterprise environments, and delivers rich and engaging application experiences for users.
The new release of ColdFusion permits developers to easily extend and customize the ColdFusion scripting language, CFML, through custom tags, reusable object-based components and user-defined functions, as well integrate with Java, .NET, and SOAP web services. Everything is focused on the application user PDF's, rich Internet applications, multi-media presentations and much more.
"We are thrilled to be able to offer this highly-anticipated full release on the same day as its official release from Adobe. HostMySite.com is dedicated to a strong relationship with Adobe ColdFusion and the ColdFusion developer community," comments Monish Sood, Director of Marketing at HostMySite.com.
Ben Forta, Senior Technical Evangelist with Adobe echoed the sentiment that HostMySite.com has supported Adobe and the ColdFusion product line, "HostMySite.com has been very good to me. They've given me a lot of flexibility in playing around.
Even before they offered ColdFusion 8 Beta hosting, my own sites were running on the ColdFusion 8 Alpha version at HostMySite.com as well. They have been very committed to ColdFusion from the very beginning."
