Aveda has launched a range of products that the manufacturer says uses certified organic ingredients and aromas.
The company is pushing its green credentials and has asserted that the product's ingredients are all grown using 100 per cent wind power and the packaging that the products come in is recycled or "otherwise enviro-certified", theglobeandmail.com has reported.
Aveda's Green Science collection is a range designed for maturing skin and contains a Lifting Serum, Firming Face Creme, Firming Eye Creme and Line Minimizer.
Packed with what theglobeandmail.com describe as the "new favourite It ingredient", argon oil, the products are available now.
They also contain plai oil which is rich in antioxidants and Boswellia, "an anti-inflammatory that protects the skin's elastin inhibitors".
According to argonoil.nu, the "It ingredient" is a "proactive skincare product that contains very high amounts of antioxidants such as vitamin E which, the site noted, is proven to "protect the skin from the damaging effects of free-radicals and reduces fine lines".
